How do I hide unused accounts?

If you have old or unused accounts in Banktivity that you no longer want cluttering up your sidebar, but you don't want to delete them entirely, you can easily hide them from view. Click "Configuration" in the sidebar and then click "Accounts." The following list of your accounts will appear:

Uncheck the "Active" box next to an account you want to hide, and you will see it disappear from the sidebar.

How do I hide unused accounts on iPad and iPhone?

If you have old or unused accounts in Banktivity that you no longer want cluttering up your accounts list, but you don't want to delete them entirely, you can easily hide them from view. Click "EDIT" from the summary page, next to the word "Accounts." The following list of your accounts will appear:

Press and hold your finger on one of the accounts to reveal some options. Choose "Hide account" to hide this account from the account list. Choosing "Delete account" will completely remove the account and any transactions in that account.

The balances of hidden accounts are not counted in the totals displayed in the Overview Summary report. Hidden accounts are not available for use when you create new transfers , scheduled transactions, budgets and reports.

Check the box next to an account in this list to show it in the sidebar again on Mac or press your hold your finger down on the hidden account on iOS to reveal the "Show account" option.
