How do I use the Interval Report?

The Interval Report type is used to show a breakdown of income and expense across discrete time intervals, like months, quarters or years. This report provides an excellent comparison of how much you have for expense or income in each category over a period of time.

Interpret the Interval Report

The report's name and type are shown along with the current date range used. Click the arrow buttons to the left or right of the date to move backward or forward in time. Comparison periods are not available for this report.

A table is shown which lists your income and expense categories. This table shows how much was spent or earned in each category based on the timeframe and interval choices you made during report creation. Click on any of the amounts listed in this report to drill down to a Category Detail Report for that specific category and interval. You can also click directly on a category to see a category detail report that spans the entire timeframe you are viewing in the Interval Report.
