In version 9.5 (and 9.5.1), when you delete a downloaded transaction, it won’t reappear on the next refresh. What happens if you accidentally delete a transaction that you need? Here’s how to override that ‘delete means delete’ feature:

In Banktivity for Mac:

– Select the account on the left side of your document you want to re-download deleted transactions for.
– Press and hold the Option key down on your keyboard while clicking on the Account menu at the top.
– Continue holding the option key down and select ‘Download all available transactions.’
– Your account should re-download transactions that were deleted.

On iOS:

– Open Banktivity for iOS and tap on the account you want to download deleted transactions from
– Tap on the icon that looks like a pencil inside a square at the top
– In the Details screen that appears, tap on Download all available transactions at the bottom.
