My account balance is incorrect, how can I adjust the balance?

You can quickly correct the balance for any non-investment account by first clicking on the account name in the column on the left hand side of the main Banktivity document window (single-click). Then go to Account > Adjust Balance and enter the proper current balance as of today’s date and click Adjust Balance

Credit Card accounts should appear in Banktivity with a negative balance, indicating money you owe. A positive balance in a Credit Card account would be an indication of an overpayment.

Balance adjustment transactions are not yet possible in Banktivity for iPhone/iPad.
