If you’re noticing that Banktivity sometimes scrolls back up to the top of the register while you are reviewing/editing older transactions in the account, and you are using an Apple Magic Mouse or trackpad, you may be experiencing a known interaction between the mouse/trackpad settings and Banktivity. To solve this, please update the mouse/trackpad settings as follows. For MacOS Ventura (13) and later:

1. Go to  > System Settings > Mouse (or Trackpad).
2. Click “More Gestures”.
3. Change the setting for ‘Swipe between pages’ from “Scroll left or right with two fingers” to “Swipe with three fingers” or “Off.

For MacOS Monterey (12) and earlier:
1. Go to  > System Preferences > Mouse (or Trackpad).
2. Change the setting for ‘Swipe between pages’ from “Scroll left or right with one finger” to “Swipe left or right with two fingers”.
