First, we’d like to inform our users that we still have Direct Access options available for Vanguard. While OFX will no longer work you can still connect using Yodlee or Plaid for Direct Access with your Vanguard accounts.
Recently, it seemed that Vanguard had stopped supporting our connections via the Open Financial Exchange and had put a stop to our existing connections. After contact with a representative from the bank it was confirmed that they will no longer offer OFX/ Bill Pay with Banktivity.
To reconnect to one of our support connection options, please use the following:
– Double-click on the account in the left sidebar.
– In the menu that pops up, click on the [Check Status…] button.
– In the Account Connection Status window click on the [Take Offline] button to take the account offline.
Next, please relink your accounts as follows:
– Double-click on the account in the sidebar.
– In the window that appears, click on the [Configure Connection…] button.
– Follow the prompts in the window that appear to relink your accounts with Vanguard.
