I just set up my account in Banktivity, but only a few months of data imported into my account. How can I download the older data?

Direct access typically allows customers to download their financial data anywhere between a 30 and 90 day window. The exact timeframe is determined by the bank. You may be able to export a larger timeframe of transactions from your bank’s website to a file that can be imported into Banktivity. Once you login to your account using an external browser, be sure to choose one of the following formats: OFX, QFX, QIF, or as a last resort CSV.

Save the file to your Desktop. Then, launch Banktivity, and click on the account you wish to download the transactional data into.

Go to File > Import Transactions,
and browse for the file you downloaded from your bank and have now saved to your Desktop.

When you select that file and click ‘OK’ to import it, you will see the transactions appear in the account’s register.
