Bank of the West has been acquired by BMO. The transition is expected to be completed between Aug 24 and Sep 5. Banktivity users will need to take all Bank of the West accounts offline and re-able online access using the “BMO” listing.

Disable online access (if already connected)

Double-Click on the account name for all Bank of the West accounts
Click “Check Status” followed by “Take Offline”

Enable online access

Double-Click on the account name for the account (you will only need to do this for one account if you have multiple accounts)
Choose “Configure Connection”
Choose “Find my bank” and select “BMO” from the list
Follow the onscreen prompts as necessary. (You will be prompted to enter your credentials, but it will be when the app is sending those credentials directly to your bank.)
