Currently our app works using different sources for intraday pricing (aka “market prices”) and historical, end of day pricing. There is a current limitation where they may be an extended period of time after a market closes where the app shows a price previous intraday price instead of the documented close price for that day. After a period (typically around 24 hours) the correct close price will get put into the database for the security in question.

We understand that customers would like the close price to be updated shortly after the market closes and not have such a potentially long gap. We are currently exploring options to improve this behavior.
