Direct Access is the easiest way to import your bank, investment and other transactions automatically into Banktivity. Direct Access makes sure your account balances stay up to date so you can make smarter financial decisions.

When we download transactions from a bank or brokerage, we pull the highest quality data. For example, for investment transactions we don’t just pull current holdings, we pull individual transactions, buys, sells, splits, etc so that your cost basis and ROI are accurate. And if you ever need to make a change, you can edit any transaction pulled down from Direct Access.
All Direct Access purchases can be made within the app, regardless of whether you use Banktivity for Mac, iPhone or iPad. One purchase on any device works across all of your devices.
Banktivity for Mac: To extend your subscription go to File > Manage Banktivity Services > Direct Access.

Yes, absolutely. Your Direct Access subscription is associated with your Banktivity ID. Just use the same Banktivity ID for Banktivity for Mac, iPhone and iPad and you will be able to update all of your accounts. And of course our free cloud sync will keep any changes you make in sync across all devices.
Cloud Sync is a free service that lets you keep all of your financial data in sync across your devices.
Direct Access is a service that allows you to download transactions from over 14,000 different banks and allows you to pull home prices from Zillow.
Some of our competitors offer similar services for “free.” But what they fail to mention is that they sell your financial data to advertisers which then try to convince you to buy financial products like insurance, more credit cards and loans. This isn’t our business model. The backend of our Direct Access service is powered by Yodlee. In order for everyone to stay in business, Yodlee charges us and since we can’t just eat this cost, we sell this optional service to our customers.
Nope, you can import transactions using Direct Download* (aka Direct Connect or OFX), use the built-in web browser or enter transactions manually. However, Direct Access is certainly the most convenient way and often the most cost effective. *Many banks charge significantly more than the cost of Direct Access for integrated Direct Download connectivity.
Our Direct Access fees are $44.99 per year, that’s about 12 cents a day. Direct Access can replace OFX/Direct Connect bank services and their fees which are usually are around $120.00 per year. Using our Direct Access service gives you an annual savings of $80.00 per year, per OFX bank!
Direct Access is just pennies a day. A year is $44.99, 90 days is $13.99 or 30 days for $5.99. All purchases can be made directly from within any app and one purchase works across all of your devices. Direct Access is not automatically renewed.
